Anonymous blames former victims for devising Sony PlayStation Network breach

Anonymous came up short of denying it infiltrated Sony’s PlayStation Network with the intent of making Anonymous look bad. The hacker group says journalists who understand Anonymous suspect someone else was behind the attack. Anonymous has said it was not responsible, but that individual members of the group may have launched the attack on their own initiative. The statement implies that capable parties might include some of the entities Anonymous says it has made uncomfortable by posting information about them that it says it stole from HBGary Federal. The attacker left a file named “Anonymous” on a Sony server including the words “We are Legion””]
