Analysis: FBI Warning About Voter Database Attacks

The FBI warned state electoral boards on Aug. 18 to safeguard their voter registration records after two states were targeted by cyberattacks. Illinois lost 200,000 voter records, Arizona shut down parts of its voter registration system, and malicious software was found.
