AirTight Gets Patent

AirTight Networks awarded a second patent in the area of wireless intrusion prevention technology. AirDefense tried to involve the patent in interference proceedings between AirTights and AirDefense. Air Defense’s proposed motion to involve AirDefense in the interference proceedings was rejected by the USPTO patent judge. This second patent builds on the fundamental building blocks of an effective WIPS, says Dr. Hemant Chaskar, director of technology at AirTtight Networks.
