Adobe Releases Quarterly Patches, Enables Auto Updater

Adobe on Tuesday released its quarterly load of patches, including an update for Adobe Reader that fixes several critical vulnerabilities. The company also used the opportunity to enable the new automatic updater in both Reader and Acrobat. The April quarterly update fixes 15 total vulnerabilities in Reader and Reader. Microsoft s monthly Patch Tuesday also released 11 patches for a variety of products, including Reader, Acrobat and Microsoft’s Windows and MacOS software. The new automatic update functionality gives users the choice of whether to download and install patches automatically.
