FireEye iSIGHT Intelligence discovered on underground market a dataset allegedly containing 200 million unique sets of personally identifiable information (PII) stolen from several popular Japanese websites. The huge trove of data was first discovered in December 2017, the archive was offered by a Chinese user at around $150. Stolen records included names, credentials, email addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers, and home addresses. FireEye is warning Japanese government offices and affected businesses that the information could be used to carry out cyberattacks on Japan.”]
