Ukrainian Cops Arrest Phishing Gang That Stole $3.4 Million

Police in Ukraine arrest a phishing gang that stole $3.4 million from more than 5,000 people. The gang is accused of using stolen credit cards to extort money from people in the U.S. and around the world. It’s not the first time police have been involved in phishing attacks in the United States, Canada and Ukraine. The arrests come during a period of high-profile phishing cases in Europe and Asia. In February, five people were arrested in connection with a separate phishing scam.”]
