Three Massachusetts banks have filed a new class-action lawsuit against Target Corp. and security firm Trustwave Holdings Inc. The banks allege Trustwave failed to ensure and maintain Target’s overall network security. A separate suit against Trustwave and Target has been dropped, meaning they can refile at any time. Trustwave CEO: Trustwave did not monitor Target’s network, nor did Trustwave process cardholder data for Target. Minnesota law allows banks to sue businesses that inappropriately store card data and are breached.”]
