Julie McNelley: Mobile banking will represent many of the same threats and risks that online banking has in the business environment. “Trojans and BYOD demand cross-channel monitoring to mitigate risks,” she says. The risk continually increases with the consumerization of devices, such as iPads and iPhones. The majority of large institutions in the North American market have a mobile-banking presence, she says. “For almost all of them, it’s on the 2012 roadmap. Consumers aren’t adopting it in droves yet, but I think that as we see more of the incentives rolled out for the loyalty, loyalty, and everything else – I think we will see that adoption”]
