Retailers Launch Cyber Info-Sharing Center

Retailers launch Cyber Info-Sharing Center to strengthen defenses against cyber-attacks. Target, Lowe’s, Nike, Safeway and Walgreens are among retailers participating in the initiative. The R-CISC will share cyberthreat information among themselves and with public and private stakeholders, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Secret Service and FBI. The center will provide advanced training and education and research resources for retailers, the Retail Industry Leaders Association says. Neiman Marcus, Michaels and Target have been hit by large-scale data breaches.”]
