Regin Espionage Malware: A Closer Look

Kaspersky Lab releases more details about two modules associated with the Regin malware. The identity of Regin’s creators or users has yet to be proven, but some of its modules may have inadvertently left some clues. The modules include “Hopscotch,” “Legspin” and “Willischeck” – which may offer clues about the malware’s creators. Regin bears the hallmarks of a state-sponsored operation and is likely used as an espionage tool by intelligence agencies, security experts say.”]
