Ransomware Industry Sees Three New Entrants

Group using Payload.bin has threatened to release stolen data from Polish video game developer CD Projekt Red, Resecurity says. Unidentified group may be related to Babuk or HelloKitty ransomware, citing undisclosed underground sources. Prometheus and Grief are the latest two new groups to join the Fray, along with an unidentified group using Payloads.bin. Prometheus has already released data of 27 victims, including Ghana National Gas, Tulsa Cardiovascular Center of Excellence and Hotel Nyack in New York.”]
