At least 50 ATMs in Eastern Europe, including Russia, have been infected with malware that drains cash from ATMs. The malware, known as PadPin and Tyupkin, first surfaced in March 2014, according to anti-virus vendors. Malware allows an attacker to tell an ATM to dispense money – no credit or debit card required.
