He stole more than $10 million through Microsoft’s retail platform and went on a shopping spree, prosecutors say. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison when he’s sentenced later this year. Malicious insider behavior has increased at least 50 percent since 2015, a Verizon 2019 Data Breach Investigations Report says.
