Emotet Botnet Shows Signs of Revival

Security researchers spot active command-and-control servers connected to Emotet botnet. Botnet has been dormant for two months, but is poised to start delivering malicious code again, researchers say. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has categorized Emotets as one of the costliest and destructive botnets ever seen. The last known case of a large-scale attack was reported in India in May, when a group of 8,000 botnet intrusions targeted a number of businesses.”]
