DarkSide Ransomware gang says it’s shut down its ransomware-as-a-service operation. U.S. authorities say DarkSide was used in the attack against Colonial Pipeline Co. The gang apparently recently received a $5 million ransom from Colonial Pipeline, research firm Elliptic says. The research firm says it identified the bitcoin wallet the group used to receive ransom payments from its victims.
