Congress to Google: Explain Yourself

Members of Congress ask Google to explain changes to its privacy policy. They say it will not allow users to opt out of sharing their data. Google says it is making changes to the terms of service easier to use. The new policy will take effect on March 1, 2015, with the exception of opt-outs. The changes are in response to Congress’ request for information about users’ privacy on Google’s search history. In the U.S. Congress will vote on the new policy on March 14.”]
