British Home Secretary Demands Backdoored Communications

British Home Secretary Amber Rudd calls for “backdoor” access to end-to-end encrypted communications. Security experts have long warned that weak crypto could also be easily cracked by criminals, unscrupulous business competitors and unfriendly nation states. Rudd’s appeal comes on the heels of the March 22 Westminster attack, when five people died and 50 more were injured.
