Black Hat Preview: Tackling Cyberthreats

Black Hat is being held this week in Las Vegas to discuss cybersecurity challenges of the future. Experts will address the areas of authentication, mobility and the “Internet of Things” One session on mobility will feature researchers at Accuvant Labs. They say hidden controls found in more than 2 billion mobile devices could be exploited to allow hackers access to these devices. The researchers say their spying cameras, including Google Glass, can take a video of a victim tapping on the touch screen and automatically recognize 90 percent of the tapped passcodes from 10 feet away.”]
