Romania will ban Chinese giant Huawei from its 5G network, reads a joint statement signed by the Romanian and US presidents. The document was signed by Romanias Klaus Iohannis and President Donald Trump during the visit of the Romanian President to Washington. The two states seek to avoid the security risks that accompany Chinese investment in 5G telecommunications networks. The Chinese giant was already excluded by several countries from building their 5G internet networks. The United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan announced the exclusion of Huawei technology.”]
