Mozilla released security updates for the Thunderbird email client that address vulnerabilities that could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code on impacted systems. Mozilla credited the researcher Luis Merino of X41 D-Sec for the discovery of the above flaws. The vulnerabilities affect all Thunderbird versions prior to 60.7.1. Mozilla is not aware of any attack exploiting the flaws in the wild. The flaws affect the implementation of the iCal functions, they could be used to cause a crash when processing specially crafted email messages.”]
