Google Online Security Blog: Expanding bug bounties on Google Play

Google announces changes to Google Play Security Reward Program and Developer Data Protection Reward Program. GPSRP has paid out over $265,000 in bounties to date. Developers can now receive rewards even if they dont have their own vulnerability disclosure or bug bounty programs. DDPRP is a bounty program, in collaboration with HackerOne, meant to identify and mitigate data abuse issues in Android apps, OAuth projects, and Chrome extensions. In 2018 alone, the program helped over 30,000 developers fix over 75,000 apps.”]
