Apple released a statement on the hack of celebrities’ iCloud accounts. They advised users to use strong passwords and two-step-verification. Apple does not enforce some of their suggestions, such as passwords with a minimum of 8 characters. Two-factor-authentication is not available in every country and does not protect iCloud backups. If you dont want your private photos to get leaked, better not take them in the first place! If you use a Romanian or a Croatian telephone number, then bad luck.”]
