Malware Evolution: 2005

By the end of 2005, Kaspersky Lab analysts were detecting, on average, 6368 malicious programs per month. This is a rise of 117% over 2005 as a whole, and exceeds last years figures by 24%. The report is aimed at security professionals who have an interest in malicious programs. It also examines the continuing growth in the market for malicious code, and includes an analysis of the current situation. The vast majority of programs in TrojWare class have been increasing in more than one year.”]
