ProLock ransomware new report reveals the evolution of a threat

SophosLabs has just published a new report on a new ransomware strain known as ProLock. The report is interesting not so much for its implementation as for its evolution. The money demanded can be several million dollars per network attack. Criminals may take days or weeks to get their attack ready, for example by hacking, phishing or buying access to the network to get a beachhead for their attack.
