Microsoft to pay first bug bounty for Internet Explorer hole

Microsoft has received more vulnerability reports in the first two weeks of its bug bounty programs than it typically would in an average month. Microsoft says it’s getting more submissions, earlier than usual, and attracting new researchers. Microsoft will be doing live bug bounty submissions at its booth at Black Hat, Las Vegas, if you’re in town and want to check out it. The program, so far, sounds like a win-win-win for consumers and Microsoft, says Katie Moussouris.”]
