Hacker pleads guilty to attacks on UK Police, Oxbridge university websites

A 21-year-old British man has pleaded guilty to a number of charges relating to a denial-of-service attack. He attempted to bring down Oxford and Cambridge universities’ websites, including those belonging to Kent Police and Oxford University. The university and Kent Police websites were only temporarily disrupted and were not compromised during the attack. Martin is scheduled to be sentenced in May and will be sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court in May. He has been charged with nine charges, including five counts of unauthorised acts with intent to impair operation of or prevent/hinder access to a computer”]
