Matomo’s piwik.org webserver got compromised by an attacker on 2012 Nov 26th. Matomo 1.9.2 Zip file was added malicious code in the Matomo.org Zip file for a few hours. Attacker used a security issue in a WordPress plugin we were using, and gained partial access to the piwk.org server. The Matomo software does not have any exploitable security issues, and we do not track any personal or personal data has been leaked.”]
