The Odisha Government has decided to designate Additional Director General of Police (Crime) as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the State. The CISO will be to coordinate security policy compliance measures for the State Government and report to CERT-In. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team is the Central organisation mandated with IT security in the country. The Home Secretary will be nominated as the Chairman of the Crisis Management Group while ADG is designated as CISO, not IG (Crime).”]
