Chief Information Security Officers Bear Brunt of Data Breach Responsibility

Tripwire survey examines views of information security professionals at annual IT security conferences. Only 18 percent of respondents believe the chief executive officer would be held responsible for data breaches. Only 10 percent believe the company board would be responsible for a data breach on critical infrastructure in your organization. The results of a survey of 250 attendees at RSA Conference USA 2015 and BSidesSF 2015 in San Francisco, California, were published by Tripwire, Inc., a leading global provider of advanced threat, security and compliance solutions.”]
