Twitter warns media outlets of hacking threat

Twitter has reached out to news and media organisations to warn them about the current attacks against accounts on its network. The social network believes that news organisations will continue to be high value targets to hackers. The Syrian Electronic Army has broken into accounts belonging to the likes of The Guardian, Associated Press, CBS, FIFA and the BBC in recent weeks. Twitter is keen to clear up any hack by hackers before too much damage is done before it can be done. The network is encouraging Twitter to introduce two-factor authentication all the quicker.”]
