Netflix users targeted by credit card phishing scheme

A new phishing scheme is available to Netflix members that tries to steal their credit card details and other personal information. The attack campaign begins when a Netflix subscriber receives a notification asking them to update their membership. The notification includes a link that takes them to a fake Netflix login page. Once the user has submitted all of their credentials, the campaign will direct them back to the real Netflix homepage. All of the phishing pages were at one time hosted on legitimate albeit compromised web servers. The phishing campaign also keeps one more ace up its sleeve to avoid detection.”]
