Dsseldorf University Clinic was hit by an extortion note demanding payment. A seriously-ill patient was taken 20 miles away to a hospital in Wuppertal, Germany. Doctors were not able to start treating the patient for an hour and she died. The note was sent to Heinrich Heine University, not the hospital, but the hospital and the university are affiliated with eachother. The hospital and university are not connected, and the attack was down to recklessness and lack of attention.”]
