Critical patches for Adobe Reader and Acrobat

Adobe issues fixes for multiple vulnerabilities in Reader and Acrobat software. One of the vulnerabilities has been actively exploited by hackers since mid-December. The fixes were issued on the same day as Microsoft issued a security update for Windows users. The update was only rated critical for users of Windows 2000, but Adobe issued the fixes on the day after the software was released.
