Surprise, Leopard’s Got Security Flaws

Researchers have revealed a few security-related flaws in Apple’s Leopard OS X Leopard. Two of its security features, including sandboxing and library randomization, are half-baked in execution. A leaky firewall means internal system services are still allowed access from the internet, researchers say. Apple should probably patch them up with some haste, particularly the leaky firework issue, according to one expert. The most commonly hacked apps like the browser, mail client and IM app aren’t run in a sandbox.”]
