Olivier Giroux has hacked a Nikon D700 DSLR to record video from its lenses. Giroux says he hopes to release the software soon. It’s not quite ready for production work, but it’s perfect for limited depth-of-field YouTube fun. The hack is inspired by the success of the Canon Liveview Liveview DSLR video hack, but the quality is limited to just 480p or 480p.
