The Onion’s Twitter account was hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army. Employees were phished three ways: at least one employee fell for it, two more fell for a phishing email. One set of credentials allowed the hackers to assume control of the account. Eventually passwords were reset across each and every account within the company.
