The AACS protection scheme has been bypassed, but not cracked, but the chicken is about halfway out of the egg, IMHO. A leaked valid Player Key after being revoked will only work on HD-DVDs created before it was revoked. However, now that we have some valid keys, it will make it easier for hackers to pull keys from other sources, including hardware players.
