A group of German students are using the Wii Balance Board (from Wii Fit) as an input to navigate Google Earth. The turning sensation more closely resembles FPS strafing. Maybe next they’ll get it working with Google Earth’s flight sim mode, along with a Wiimote, that would be pretty cool. It would take some serious coordination, toning your small torso muscles (the ones that are left to atrophy and forget how to take commands in a coordinated way, leading to the occasional dreaded back failure mode).”]
