Google Now Lets You Use Your iPhone as a Security Key

Last year, Google announced that anyone using an Android 7+ could use their smartphone as a security key. The move is part of Googles Advanced Protection Program, which was designed to help protect the accounts of people who are at high risk of phishing attacks. The main snag is that the program requires you to have physical security keys which, until recently, were separate, standalone devices a barrier that is just inconvenient enough to deter the average person.
