Users in the Dropbox forums pointed out the weird spam email about a day ago. The company hasn’t admitted anything went wrong but says it’s looking into what’s up. It’s possible the problem might only apply to European users, but if any of you have received unusual emails or have additional information, please let us know. It’s impossible to conclude that Dropbox accounts or personal information have been compromised, but something fishy’s definitely up, considering there have also been various reports of Dropbox outages.”]
