Dropbox Passwords Were Optional For a Short Time on Sunday

Dropbox issued a code update that let users login to the service without a correct password. The error was live for four hours before it was detected. Dropbox says it’s conducting a thorough investigation to see if accounts were improperly accessed. The company says it will be implementing additional safeguards to prevent this from happening again. Users can contact [email protected] to check their files and change their password if they’re concerned. The fix was live at 5:41pm on Sunday afternoon and was live until 5:46pm on Monday.”]
