Jon Curwen uses an iSight camera being powered and run by an old G3 iBook oldApple computer. The camera is placed inside a weatherproof housing with a FireWire cable running from inside the house to the designated iBook. Using ImageCaster software, the Mac uploads one screenshot per minute to Jon’s.mac site to satisfy his paranoia and allow monitoring anywhere with Internet access. Curwen has set up a little security/monitoring device in his back yard.”]
