Boaz Yakin was attached to a live-action version of Batman Beyond. Yakin called the script the “best script I ever wrote that never got made. He says he gave up after one draft because he didn’t have the mindset for a big-budget movie. The script was like a “teenage, kind of futuristic, cyberpunk” version of the character. It could have been a perfect way to tackle the character without reconciling all the past versions with the new universe.”]
