Hackers uploaded a malicious version of MEGA Chrome Extension to the Google Chrome store which steals users login credentials of popular websites and cryptocurrency wallets. The extension was first spotted by Italian Security researchers serhack and he posted a warning on Twitter. Google has removed the malicious extension, it has been active for five hours in the Chrome Webstore. For those who installed the extension at the time of compromise should remove them immediately and need to change the login details of the sites visited after the installation.”]
