Google is hit With the Highest GDPR Fine of 50 Million Euros

Frances data-privacy watchdog, The CNIL imposed a financial penalty of 50 Million Euros against the company GOOGLE LLC, in conformity with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for lack of transparency, inadequate information and lack of valid consent regarding the ads personalization CNIL carried out online inspections by analzsing the browsing pattern of a user and the documents he or she can have access to. The amount was completely justified based on the principles of breaking GDPR laws: transparency, information and consent.”]
