Attackers performed unauthorized activities in Dell.com customers sensitive information. Dell has issued a mandatory password reset and credit card and other sensitive customer information was not targeted. Security experts found no evidence that any data was extracted by the attackers though some of the sensitive information has been removed from Dell networks. The incident did not impact any Dell products or services. The password has been hashed, it needs to be reversed in order to use it and it gives an extra layer of security. The incident has been resolved and Dell urged all the users of Dell to reset their passwords.”]
