The V8 JavaScript engine in Google Chrome contains a memory corruption vulnerability that could allow an attacker to gain the ability to execute arbitrary code on the victims machine. Google initially fixed this vulnerability in March and merged it in April. Cisco Talos worked with Google to ensure that these issues are resolved and that an update is available for affected customers. V8 is the core JavaScript engine that runs in the Chrome browser.
