Cisco Talos is working on a new technology called Faster Than Realtime. Project FTR is the next generation of detection technology, that which will truly revolutionize the industry. Quantum Pre-Detection (QPD) leverages Predictive Attack Detection (PAD) by putting packets into an Ethereally-Buffered Capture (EBC) file.
