BYOD is a popular policy whereby employees can bring personally-owned devices, such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones, to work and use them to access data and applications. Similar in theory to BYOS is BYOS, or Bring Your Own Security, which allows employees to choose which security solution they would like to run on their devices.
