Ransomware disrupts food supply chain, Exchange exploitation suspected

Bakker Logistiek, a Dutch food logistics company, was hit by a successful ransomware attack on 4 to 5 April. The company’s IT systems were down, and the delivery of goods to Albert Heijn, the largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands, was also affected. The CEO suspects that the compromise had something to do with the ProxyLogon vulnerability affecting Microsoft Exchange Servers. The attack is yet another real-world example in the lengthening list of malware attacks affecting vital organizations with major consequences.”]
